Well done on a comprehensive quarterfinal victory against Naenae Intermediate. Particularly pleasing to see Krishan scoring 50 and the bowlers conceding only 12 extras.

Now you can put your cricket gear away until Term 4 when we meet Hutt International in the Milo Cup semifinal. I’ll publish the date for this fixture later in the year.

Excellent effort here – the pitch was difficult to bat on early in the day, and the Wellesley bowlers bowled line and length very well to restrict Huntley to 103 after 35 overs. Chasing this score, the boys showed patience and discipline, none more so than Krishan who batted throughout the innings and was out in the last over. Ben, Louis and James all contributed with sensible batting. Their patience was rewarded with a win in the last over.
